Request account deletion

Core local study does not require an account. This static contact page does not ask you to sign in or upload App data.

Delete in the App when possible

Deleting from the App is the best option because the App can request authorization for its hidden Google Drive app-data folder and attempt to delete the Drive backup before deleting the account. If Drive cleanup cannot be verified, the App warns that the backup may remain and asks you to confirm before continuing.

Send a deletion request

If you cannot use in-App deletion and used Google Sign-In, email us from the same address used to sign in. Include:

• the Google sign-in email for the account you want deleted;
• the app name, Fibonacci Review;
• the words "Account deletion request";
• an optional reply email if it differs from the sign-in email.

Do not send passwords, Google verification codes, payment-card details, exported files, or backup files by email.

Email a deletion request

Verification and timing: we may request information needed to verify that you control the account. We will confirm receipt and process a verified request within 30 days unless a different period is required by applicable law.

What a completed request deletes

• the Firebase Authentication account associated with the Google sign-in;
• account-associated Firestore data that Fibonacci Review can identify;
• the App's backup in the authorized Google Drive appDataFolder, when the App can obtain authorization and verify deletion.

What may remain

• a Google Drive backup when Drive authorization is unavailable, cancelled, expired, or cleanup cannot be verified; an email request cannot itself authorize access to the user's hidden Drive app-data folder;
• local study data on another phone or tablet; remove it in the App, clear App storage, or uninstall the App on that device;
• files the user exported or saved to a location they control;
• Google Play transaction records retained by Google under its policies and legal obligations;
• aggregated or de-identified analytics and crash data retained for configured periods.

No account?

If you used Fibonacci Review only as a local guest and never signed in, there is no Fibonacci Review account to delete. Remove local data in the App, clear App storage in Android settings, or uninstall the App. User-exported files must be removed separately from the location where they were saved.
